Our sessions

Terms

We work mostly with home ed families to offer a safe space for children 4-11 to learn, grow and play without the restraints of a traditional school environment. Our 3 weekday workshops run as a full day and build on the children's interests through developing projects that naturally link to other topics such as literacy, maths, science and geography but in a more creative and interest led way. We incorporate movement sessions such as yoga, tai chi or mindful walking and will regularly sit around a fire for hot chocolates or cooking sessions. There is plenty of time for free play too.

(Multi-Session and sibling discounts are also available!)

Holiday Club

For those of you whose children attend school we also run 'Holiday Sessions' during school breaks so your child can also enjoy the creativity and wilderness of the space with their friends, whilst meeting some new ones along the way!

Collaborations

We also love a good collaboration so expect to meet other artists, musicians, storytellers, mental health coaches and foragers within the workshops. We will also hold extra sessions if we meet someone exciting we want to skill share with so keep an eye on socials and weekend pop ups. Want to get involved? Just send us a message!

Term Dates & Fees

We run alongside school term times in the West Sussex area.

Holiday clubs are also available during breaks and can be booked separately.

Term Time Sessions: 9:30am – 3:15pm
Days: Every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

At Wild Arts, we gently encourage consistency, as it helps children feel a sense of belonging—to one another, to the forest, and to the creative projects they help shape. Regular attendance allows them to settle into our rhythms and build deep, trusting relationships over time. Because of this, we’re not a drop-in service.

Sessions are booked in half-term blocks and cost £50 per day, including the booking fee. Worried about term having started already? Don't worry you can join us anytime there's space, our auto-calculator will charge you for the remainder of the terms sessions only :)

We’ve also introduced a subscription payment option to help spread the cost across the year and secure your child’s ongoing place. Subscriptions begin on September 1st and continue through the holidays, but only cover term-time sessions. If you join us late, your payment will simply begin the following month and you will be pro-rated for any sessions in between! Please see our booking terms and conditions for full details.

You can view specific term dates and make bookings via our platform:

Tax-Free Childcare
We happily accept Tax-Free Childcare payments. However, the government’s system does not link directly to our booking platform. Please check availability with us first, then make the payment through your childcare account. Once paid, send us the payment reference code. It may take a few days to come through, but once received, we’ll issue you a voucher code so you can complete your booking on 'Book That In' and enter your child’s details—without being charged again.

Universal Credit
If you're eligible, Universal Credit can reimburse up to 85% of childcare costs. Please speak to them directly to check your entitlement. Our booking system will email you a receipt with our registration number and all the details you’ll need to submit your claim.

Our guarantee

If your child does not enjoy their first session then we will refund your block in full.

Want to visit for a trial first?
Absolutely—just get in touch! We offer free 2-hour trial sessions, and you’re very welcome to stay, observe, and have a chat with us.
Please note that our focus will be on the children attending that day, but it’s a lovely chance to see what we get up to and get a feel for Wild Arts.

Collaborative Learning

Wild Arts captures each session through a personalised diary, featuring children's interests and learning moments with beautiful photos and quotes. These diaries foster ongoing discussions and activities at home, they can be used as a tool for collaboration with schools and other support networks. Our projects engage children in shared passions, bridging their home experiences with those at our setting, encouraging genuine engagement. Tailoring our approach to each unique child, we invest time to build genuine friendships and trust among facilitators. This is more than a play date; it's a collective journey of learning and growing together with respect, authenticity, and without judgment.

Flexi-schooling

If your child attends school and you are interested in getting involved there is an option where a child spends a part of the week attending school and some time educated at home or at an off-school site. This arrangement needs a formal request from parents to the school, and approval from the school. In such arrangements the child will always remain on the school roll.
